After changing the same 3 lines as I did last night.. but learning how to count..
Wipe of caches and 2 reboots later:

I'm still wanting to add a Stargate type feel , so far all I have are life sign detector shaped dialers but between my limited Photoshop skills and the limitations with Android, what I see in my head and what I can pull off are 2 separate things. I have a dozen or so images in phone & contacts to either theme or redo and then off to the next. apk. Hopefully I will finish this before we get JB...of course if we can't borrow a page from the RAZR folks, then I'm staying on ICS with the Bionic and I'm sure I'm not the only one.

I'm kinda thinking about changing the color of the menus to a darker shade of blue, and was messing around the other night and think a red version might be in the works as well...just trying to come up with a name for the themes. Calling the blue one "Ice" and the red one "Fire" kinda sounds iffy.As a huge fan of NIN, thinking the blue could be called "Broken" and the red could be called "Fixed". I'm not good at coming up with cool names..I'm too old I guess

I like the transparent stuff but it does make it tuff to read some things. To bad what ever is in front doesn't blur what is behind. I think it would make that effect more useful. This is looking great though! I kinda like cobalt and infrared as well.

Haven't changed the font colors yet..that will be the real test. The main font color for every main window/pop up isn't too hard to read..it's the secondary and what ever controls the secondary menus that make it almost impossible. The menus are controlled by at least 2 different. Themes..and the ones that are really hard to see are usually a white/black window configuration or reversed. Still haven't messed with the toast windows ( the one that pops up saying things like blah blah has been granted super user blah blah)

Well.. It probably doesn't look like much of a difference between the last pictures and these, but believe it or not this has occupied most of my day and part of last night. This is the 18th test build of the same 4 files and still I can't find the XML that controls this one friggin menu! I have asked 3 other people and I have decided that I either will leave it default or try and tweak the transparency so that the black text shows up better.
