If you wipe, you lose contacts. It's best to use Google Contacts, Verizon Backup Assistance, etc.

If you do not wish to use either of them, you can always "Export" your contacts before you flash a new ROM. So when you are done flashing you can go back into your Contacts and choose "Import".

Well, i dont have any contacts in google contacts, and for some reason verizon backup assistance isnt on my phone anymore.

Good news is that i logged into my verizon account and i have my contacts, but cant figure out how to get them back on my phone. I tryed by copying all of them into my sd card, but it wont recognize it because of a vcard something or other.

I figured it out. Had to export and save the contacts from the verizonwireless account and import them into the google contacts account, then resynced. That was painful. Thank you again for helping me. Now to figure out how to download Eclipse.

Sorry I did not see your replies earlier or I could have been more help.

I had to go through that with my Droid X all the time because Google Contacts wouldn't ever sync, it is a pain haha.

Glad you got it working though!

Its no problems. Usually i get easliy frustrated when trying to fix software stuff or figure it out. If there is a step by step i can do that all day, but most computer things make me upset real easy. Once i cool down and take a deep breath I can figure it out.
