hTHis is my first motorola device, coming from HTC devices and sense. Is there any way to get the "phone keypad" as my keyboard.

I think he is referring to the T9 dialer/keypad. Might have to use a 3rd party app to get that.

I found one called smart keyboard that has a t9 dialer pad option - Thanks to all who replied.

Glad you found one. I purchased that one a while ago but forgot it had the T9 support.
