Well folks, the whole site is gearing up for a ground up facelift! It's in the works as we speak! And we want you ALL to have an opportunity to have a spot in it. The original conversation was that we just had certain themers or staff members contribute to this project, but the ultimate decision was to open it to EVERYONE! This is open to every member! New or Old. People, take advantage!

Here are the rules:

We want everyone and anyone who's willing to participate to do so! And the rules are simple:

• The Image Needs to Say Droidrzr.com in some fashion
• The Background Needs to be 100% transparent
• It needs to be be 600X120 Pixels in size
• It must not include ANY copy righted materials WHAT-SO-EVER
• It Must be in .png format

Of course the legalese: Anyone who enters this contest understands that any intellectual property that they create and contribute to this thread and this site: Droidrzr.com you are hereby releasing any copyright thereof. We (Droidrzr.com) realize this is an amendment to the contests original rules and will be offering a 3 day grace period for those who do not agree and they shall edit their posts and remove their contributions. From this day (11/28/12) forward all participants realize that any and all of their contributions to this contest will be without copyright and further more all rights will be transferred to site owners without any compensation or official recognition. Contributors understand that they retain no intellectual property rights to any work submitted to this thread and that all contributions in this contest will be site property.

Now that the ugly part is out of the way...

That's IT. Sounds Easy Right? The options beyond that are YOURS!!! We don't care about colors, fonts, nothing! BE CREATIVE! It's open to EVERYONE!

This contest will be open for 2 weeks starting today Sunday 11/25/12!

On 12/9/12 The forum Staff will choose the top 5 contributions. Within the next 3 days a new thread will be started. This new thread will then offer EVERYONE the opportunity to vote amongst the Top 5 selections to choose the Ultimate Winner! Come New Years Eve, whomever is the most wanted site logo, their logo will go hot on Jan 1st!

Once the ultimate winner is chosen, their creation will be used as the entire websites forum header for at LEAST the remainder of the year!

So here's you're chance. Don't miss out! Get in on this awesome contest! No other site on the web gives this kind of freedom to their members and this is our way to give back to those who support this site and want to help us brand it into the GO-TO Droid Razr Forum! Just a comment, the Andy the android logo is free-use by Google, and can be included in. The Motorola DROID eye and maybe even the droid font, nope.

Right, the Droid Eye is kinda what got this whole contest idea flowing. I know you already knew about that tho, Matt. That's why everyone please aware of copyrighted material when designing these.

That's perfectly fine. We just can't use anything taken directly from Moto.

Thach, post the ones you've shown me in private. Perhaps this thing needs a kick in the pants to get going. A little inspiration, if u will. After all, I'd hate to see the site head admin win it by lack of competition, that's just lame if you ask me... With all due respect.

You say this is "nothing special " I say it looks great and is a great start to this "competition " ... if only my artistic talents equaled even this.....

Giving this my own shot as well. I liked the original logo, it seems to fit well with the layout. So in my version I made sure it is copyright-free. Android logo and Roboto font are free-use from Google, if anyone is wondering. I do my work in Adobe Illustrator, so it is completely a vector image. This means if we need an 8 foot long banner we can size it up with no issue. I suggest anyone else who does logos to try out A.I.... great program.
