Sorry for posting the 907 directory shot. I do have the correct 926 directory.

Honestly, I've downloaded so many folders and files over the last few days, I'm not sure if I ever tried to flash with the XML in the 907 directory.

Where I'm at now is I'm lost about where this universal.xml file is living.

I've figured out how to run the RSDFlasher executable and point to the 926 XML. I've got that part down.

I just don't see the universal file anywhere.

I re-read Samuri's instructions about only having to do this phase once:

1. Run the RSDFlasher.jar

2. Locate your SDL.exe file in your RSD Lite installation directory.  NOTE: This will only be necessary the first time you run.

I must have done that at some point, but again, I've saved files all over and I'm starting to get lost. I've given myself a darn stress headache over not being able to solve this.

I appreciate all the help so far. Any tips I how I could pinpoint where the universal.xml file is living?

I've searched my system for "universal.xml" and get nothing.

You won't either until you select the universal option in rsd Flasher.

Thank you. Here's what I get. Do you think I've reached the end of the road with this phone?

I've had tons of problems with the Maxx HD when I owned it.
One of the things i've discovered as of recently, being bootloader unlocked of course, is to go into fastboot and manually type in and erase all the partitions INCLUDING recovery and every partition physically fastboot erasable...this cured alot of my flash error problems that I had. Although I am absolutely no help with the gpt flash error, I do remember having that in the log long ago annndddd I dont remember what fixed it. I seriously think it was a "wrong cable/Driver" thing.
But I havent had that phone for a year until my buddy just gave it back to me, upgraded to the XT1080, but I went and completely erased everything and she works fine with CM11...barf....

Thanks. I'm traveling in South America right now. They fix everything down here and don't throw anything away.

A family member took the phone to a shop who said they can get it running again (with everything wiped).

I said I'll believe it when I see it.

No luck getting the phone fixed, so I had to finally throw in the towel.

Thanks for all of the efforts to help.

Now on to a Galaxy S5.

Look forward to hanging around here to get some tips and info. on the new phone.

The S5 is a tough little nut.  I don't know that the latest build is rootable.  It's certainly not going to be an unlockable phone.  Unless you're talking about the international version of the S5 in which case you can simply ignore me.  :D  But the VZW variant is a pain in the ass from what I've seen.
