I'm running a stock-based ROM and I was wondering if it would be possible to replace the stock phone and contacts apks with the aosp or aokp versions. Would it require replacing system apks?

>Yes to system/app
>You will have to deodex your .246 blur first (find a zip file and flash it)
> Deodex allows you to install app without an extra .odex file

Or you can just flash ECLIPSE ROM (ALL AOSP)
