First off, I don't tether often and when I do, I don't use crazy amounts of data

I fired up foxfi on my razr HD at my girlfriend's house because her internet wasn't working. A window popped up on the foxfi screen that said "checking subscription status" then it kicked me to screen that said that there was some kind of error in my subscription and gave me two number to call, business and consumer. I could only assume they were Verizon numbers, so I googled one and sure enough, Verizon must have blocked my wifi tether.

anyone else running into this?

Edit: I should add that I'm on the "OTA" jelly bean leak

Not sure about what all that means, but I know this will help.....

Your "entitlement check" line might be different, but the concept is the same. Just find your "entitlement check" line and follow the rest of the instructions after that and you'll be good to go!

Yeah, Foxfi will not work with JB on nearly all phones. I ran into this problem too. The Foxfi devs state on their app page that you have to a stay on ICS. I believe I read that it will work with Bluetooth, though. . .

For a dev to say not to upgrade to the latest software seems like an excuse to be lazy and not upgrade their app... IMHO

Do you have to be rooted for this app to work?
