The prediction is good, but could definitely be better, I think.

Download UK English and then right after setup is finished go into the Swift key settings and download US English.

What I did to get it fixed.

I like it to me it gives you the best of both worlds. I wish there was a swype back to delete a word. It is still in beta so I am sure withen time it will get even better.

Has anyone had an issue where Flow doesn't work sometimes and you have to resort back to tapping? I love Swiftkey. I've had it for over a year and it's my default keyboard. I just can't seem to get Flow to work consistently.

UPDATE: Just found out. If the field you are trying to type in has predictions turned off, then you can't flow. So, if you don't see the prediction bar above your keyboard, you can't do Flow.

Apparently, Android developer standards has it that certain fields are to be marked to NOT allow predictions from 3rd party apps as these fields already provide their own predictions (such as URL entry boxes, etc).

I still don't see why they can't just give us an option of turning this on or off. Swype allows you to use it in things like the URL box.

How would it determine whether you're coming back while flowing a word? You would potentially erase that word instead of flowing it.

If you press and hold the delete key on the keyboard, it will delete the previous word.
