Hi Everyone!

I am running a stock, unmodified, un-rooted Droid Razr with system version 6.11.748.xt912. The issue I am having is that every time I text in the Text Messaging folder a duplicate empty text message is created with the contacts name. I could live with it until an update comes, but these duplicates cannot be deleted and I fear eventually might cause memory and/or storage issues.

I have rebooted the phone, Force stopped the app, cleared the data and nothing has worked. I wanted to see if anyone had a fix before I contact Verizon, which they will just make me factory reset the phone.

With my recent experiences with trying to save my old text msg database I've discovered that the only way that I could figure out to fix my txt issues was to do a factory restore. Was disappointing but it wouldn't send a text msg until I'd dumped the old database on 748. You can try upgrading to .173 and see if that fixes it for you (I've never had issues with messaging on 173)
