If you bought your Razr with mobile carrier, your Razr is lock and you need to find originals fastboot files of your carrier.

Hey this is my first time posting on here and ive had this problem all day as well... if I could get a charge on it long enough to use your utility batman I wouldnt have this problem... Is there anyway to get a charge on the phone other than the factory charger thing? what happened was I got stuck in a boot loop and i finally got it to the fastboot flash mode and ran your utility to take it back to the 6.12.173 and right before it finished the battery went to the low battery part and now I cant figure out how to get a charge on it... it is a us razr with verizon... any suggestions I can get to the screen where i can choose which boot screen to load but none of them seem to be able to charge it... when I plug it up to the computer the white light comes on like its trying to charge but ive left it on here for over an hour now and no change... is there any way to get a charge on it other than the factory cord way? thanks for the help in advance im fresh out of ideas to fix this thing...

You are pretty stuck. Without a system to boot into it will not charge. You'll need to fastboot with a factory-style cable to fix your razr if it has no bootable system. Sorry

ok i finally fixed it without making or buying one of those cords... when i got the phone it was buy one get one free so i happened to have a second razr... after about 4 hours of work i finally got both backs off and both batteries out of the phones... then i just needed to switch the batteries out and charge it with the working phone that i had. It finally reached a charge and i switched it back into the bricked one since it seems that the batteries only work for the particular phone that they came in... the i just used matts utility to flash the 6.12.173. So a fix for this if you can get your hands on another razr you can do that... and since verizon assumes that most people wont open up the Razr im assuming that they wouldnt go through the trouble of checking if you actually did open it, thus not voiding your warranty. So moral of the story is definitely make sure that the battery is charged before attempting to flash a rom.
