I discovered my many attempts to root (and subsequent failures) my CDMA RAZR M were not successful because I had Bluestacks installed on my Windows PC. So FYI, UNINSTALL Bluestacks prior to rooting using Dan Rosenberg's jrbliss exploit: Motofail2Go.

I dont think bluestacks had anything to do with rooting... i also have it installed and had no problem... what it is... most of us had to do a cache and data wipe in recovery.

Ok well i reinstalled apps one by one this time hoping it dwould not get another bootloop and all went well until i lowered the dpi using LCD Monitor app. Then same problem, looping. I actually think its stuck trying to power down. Anyway now what. I can force it to shut down and then get it to boot to Safestrap, but last time i tried everythifng to no avail. Any ideas other then return it to Verizon and cancel my acct with the company that locks its bootloaders? I had no problems with ICS and dpi changes. But JB just doesnt like it much. Not tto mention JB has brightened up some thifngs that ICS had made dark. Really cant see the benefits of JB at all, any help on getting my phone to boot up would be great. If i could restore dpi to stock 240 and uninstall LCD Monitor through Safestrap i should be OK. I thifnkfd. Really thinking of going back to D2 and Froyo

everytime you have a big issue like this and dont know how to fix it you can always wipe it all up and start over... meaning fastboot back to stock and go from there... here is how

thank install safestrap 3.05.20

and make backups before you do any changes. that way you dont have to start from square 1 everytime
