So, Facebook has finally updated to version 2.0, ditching the HTML5 UI in favor of the android native, Java.
I downloaded the update and have seen a HUGE improvement in speed, page loads and the pictures load much faster now!

Don't spend a lot of time on FB anymore, mostly because the previous versions were BLEH! and I spend a lot of time on my phone. This update seems much smoother. I did notice that it turned on my location setting again on install, so I had to shut that off again, but I come to expect that kind of thing. So far, so good !

I would love to see an inverted Facebook. Just thinking about how slick it would look. Any themers out there try it out or is it even possible?

It is way better now but they still can't get the in app notifications right. I can open fb and see no new comments or anything then I open friend caster and it will show a bunch lol. Don't know why they can't get that right. Still a huge improvement. Still using friend caster for the inverted theme though.

It is a lot better, but they either removed or forgot to put the swipe to delete comments or post back in. I like that feature. If you make a typo or just plain realize you need to remove something, you just swiped to the right and hit delete. Now, it's no longer working. Notifications are flaky now, but I am sure they will be a 2.0.1 released shortly to correct a few things. Overall it is a million times better than the previous versions.
