I cannot answer your questions, as my M will be here tomorrow. I've been looking over the ROMs and I'm excited to flash

My M will be here in 2 days and I am very very excited. Only had a few questions. Like on the X, do different roms get different types of battery life out of this phone? And aside from that question, which Rom would more users suggest? I really want to be prepared before my phone arrives in a day or two.
I loved my DX when I had it. It was one of the best phones I've owned. Like the DX, you can switch ROMs, etc. It's a little bit trickier since the DX has been out for a while, but youre going to get the same thing you expect out of the DX with the Razr M.
Each ROM has different tweaks to help with battery life, some are selected in a ROM, some aren't. Most of them are pretty uniform, as you won't see MUCH difference in your battery life when switching ROMs.
I know that when I first got my Razr Maxx, my battery lasted me 52 hours. Now with 4G, my battery lasts about a day with moderate to heavy use.
So, expect about the same amount of varieties with battery life.

With the X Only a few totally stripped down blur roms would get decent battery life. All others gave me no more than 6 or 7 hours on moderate usage and if a phone doesn't last the day for me, it's practically useless. Eager to be able to try different roms, have variety, and still get good battery life. Are the latest CM builds functioning in every way I'd need them to be? I saw on one of the threads here that "wifi direct" isn't working... not sure what that is. Is wifi fully functional?I loved my DX when I had it. It was one of the best phones I've owned.
