I am a new user and really ready to scream. A week ago my Motorola Razr went nuts after I added an app. All my app's stopped responding, I shut off my phone and now it wont go past the red static eye. I tried the hard reset, etc...

I was reading that my phone may be bricked so I was trying to download the utility and can not locate it in the posts on here.  Maybe  I am too irritated with my phone to find it. I see the screen shots of the utility but no download. Can someone please help me?? I cant get a new phone until the end of the year

What model is your phone? It will help in telling you what utility to use.

I have the same issue.  My phone is a Motorola XT907.  Phone was crashing apps and randomly restarting.  This morning, it restarted and never rebooted.  Just stuck on red eye.  Have done factory resets, cleared cache and reboots, but still stuck on loading eye.

Re-flash the stock firmware.

I just tried flashing it in Fastbook Flash Mode and I am getting an error message in RSD Lite v6.1.4.  "Failed flashing process.  1/17 flash partition "gpt.bin" -> Phone returned FAIL

You're probably trying to flash older FW.  Flash the most current one for your phone.

where do I find the latest firmware?  the link i have isn't working....
