First off, let me start out by introducing myself. I'm Matt. I'm coming from a Verizon Droid X2 rooted on ICS and running CM7. I'm hopefully within the next month or so I will be buying myself a new Droid Razr Maxx HD and I'm trying to look into the ROMs available for this phone.

I'm fairly tech savvy and understand rooting, but with the Razr being able to run both ICS and JB, my first question which is better ICS or JB? And along with that question, which ROM for that version is most stable or best? I know it all in the matter of opinion, but I want your opinions.

Just running through the ROMs, I looked through Black Widow and Eclipse both seem to be pretty stable and Black Widow has several different themes. Guess I will have to do the same thing I did with my X2 and just play with them until I find the one I like best.

RAZR [Maxx] HD is not the same phone as the RAZR [Maxx]. There is a different section here for the HD, and you would be better off looking there. Flashing any RAZR ROMs would brick your device more than likely.

My fault. Honestly didn't know there was a difference between the two.
