This batakang rom will likely take up all my time in the next few hours, however.. ;D Before I go too crazy, are you going to mark all the versions of this ROM with softkeys specifically as with softkeys? Or is everything after Alpha 2 going to be softkeys regardless?

Soft keys will come randomly and be marked as such

Hard Keys is default unless otherwise said

On alpha3 I keep getting sync error on gmail, also when I reboot I keep getting updating programs

That's gonna happen on each reboot as far as I am aware. It zipaligns when new apps are added on boot.

As for the sync error I'll look into it when I can. Anyone else have Gmail issues?

On alpha2 I didn't have these issues, I wiped, I deleted par1 on slot 1, I re-created it.. then installed, I noticed on alpha 2 I had the usual boot, on 3 I have the the X in colors.. Was I supposed to install 3 over 2? I also noticed the setup was different on 2 than 3, even at the start up where it asks for English..

The flashing X is normal on bootup. It's the Nexus 4 boot image.

Yeah let me clarify you should wipe all when moving from 1 build to any other to make sure the error is not from residual crud lol

Right I always wipe all, and even del the Partition and then restart when installing again.. This time, I ignored the start-up setup and I am not getting gmail errors, I added the gmail account in settings.. as it wouldn't let me delete the gmail account the last time in settings.. odd
