Every-time I try to flash the rom it errors out.
"E:Unable to open zip file."
"Error flashing zip '/sdcard-ext/downloads/TripleCoretest11.zip"

Does anyone have any ideas?


This typically means you got a bad download. Delete the zip you got and try redownloading.

Installing this now. Switching from CyanCore to this for more stability. I'll post my results shortly.

I installed everything but I just get a black screen when booting up.

You said you are coming for CyanCore, which was for ICS stock 6.211. This is based on the JB OTA from Verizon just before Xmas. It won't work unless you are 98.72.8.XT912

Just flash the patched JB kernel in Development Section by lightwaverx

Folks, test build 15 is up in testroms section on CF. This is one build away from a completely stable ROM!

Folks, test build 15 is up in testroms section on CF. This is one build away from a completely stable ROM!


Just installed test build 15. So far this looks great. Can't wait for this to be completely stable. It feels so fast.

I also like how you use Nova Launcher. I already had nova launcher prime. :)

So I have a quick question...when the stable version comes out, will it an upgrade that I could flash over the existing? Or will it require a data wipe? Because if I have to wipe, then I'm not going to really load many apps on the ROM

I have actually been treating all of the new REV's as updates. TSC has it setup to wipe cache/dalvik, but I still do it anyway before I install. Only issues I had late last night with Rev15 was I could only get 3g to pop. So I shut off the radio, put it back into 4g and we have been back in business ;) Fastest and most stable build to date. Oh...and I am on SS v3.11...works like a champ

I usually just use verizonwireless.com . The app pretty much brings you to that webpage anyways.

This is probably why I am having issues installing the new version. Will way for the upload to finish.

How big is the new update supposed to be? The download page says 306 but I am only downloading 293 mb

The black screen did hang a little long for me as well, and as soon as I started getting nervous the TSC logo popped up. I did this as an update and I am at the "Android is upgrading" screen now. Maybe try downloading again now that is it fully uploaded
