Hello, Droid RAZR users... I'm one of those long-time IT guys who is just getting into new ROMs for my (spare) smartphone. While I'm not too worried about bricking my RAZR, I'd still like to avoid it. I just finished escaping from a dead-droid boot screen with some of the helpful posts I've seen here... Now, all I need to find is a tutorial on how to PROPERLY load new ROMs on an XT912.

Using safestrap is the only way to flash ROMs on the 912..... There are typically instructions in the razr912 ROM threads... installing safestrap itself is as easy as installing any other apk (app) .... You must be rooted, download safestrap, install, reboot, profit :)
