4.1.2 OTA is there. I do not think 4.2 will come out so soon.

4.1.2 fixed a number of bugs for me including constant green notification LED, PIN lag, and a few others.

My guess is they are skipping 4.2 and will give us 5/key lime pie next since that's due to come out in another month or so..

I really dont no whats up with Moto thats why I have a Note2 also. They are so tight lipped about everything. They need to do something the phone is not right. So will they fix it with update or just shlock it off and put out a new phone. I said I wouldnt buy another Moto phone after the Bionic and I did. Guess I just keep hoping they will put out a good phone I remember theOG and the DX.

there is a leak of this 4.1.2 upgrade...and i can confirm that you can protect root with voodoo, un-install safestrap, unroot, upgrade(you have to be on .41) via leak, reroot, re-install safestrap, and come back to this...i had to unroot, flash back to ics, root, voodoo to protect, unroot, take the upgrade to .41, and then install the leak via stock recovery, restore root, and am now back on fuzion rc1...i used matt's utility to flash bcak to ics...once you're on the leak there's no going back, per matt

Hey all... I have been away for a long time, but I was looking at this post today and thought I would chime in, please feel free to correct me if I am wrong... I absolutely love my phone and look forward to everything Motorola has coming in the future... but on this topic, one of my biggest complaints is that we do not have a gyroscope in our phone. This makes one of the key features of 4.2 unusable, PhotoSphere. I have assumed this is why we are not getting 4.2. Not to mention Android Beam does not work on our phone like it does on the Galaxy/Nexus Devices... we can send apps, but not photos, videos, links... UBER MAD! But overall, our battery and performance keeps our phone at the top of many lists of great phones.

Umm, we do have a gyroscope actually.

The only sensor we don't have is a temperature sensor, we have basically everything else any other android phone has.

i've never gotten photosphere to take good pictures (without overlapping and generally looking like crap) but i figure that's because it was always just a port from the Nexus.
