Hey guys...

I've been using clockworkmod type recoveries for all of my Android phones since making the jump in the first place.

To my knowledge...Koush hadn't made one for the Maxx HD...what options are out there for a simple backup and restore program? I haven't played with safestrap at all...but it seems to be a little more involved than what I'm looking for...am I wrong?

to my knownledge, safe strap is a workaround for a locked bootloader, and works the same as CWM, i prefer safe strap because it is said to be safer and you can have up to 4 rom slots and a stock slot if any problems are found in the rom slots. its very easy just install the apk and install recovery through the app. for a rom slot just choose the sizing for the data you want for that rom and create the slot then just flash what you want into that slot. :) hope this helped in any way
