You guys might have talked me into. Can't afford a maxx but I always have a charger with me so I should be good with just the regular HD.

I'm sure this is a noob question, but how long after the boot animation will the screen be dark? I'm guessing 15 or 20 mins means something went wrong?
Update: I'm sure glad being stupid doesn't hurt. In my haste to get some S117 on my phone, I neglected to finish updating all the way to JB. Looks awesome so far. Glad to see someone with some respect for HALO history... I dig the boot animation.

I'm told the battery life is still pretty sweet with the regular HD model. You won't be disappointed. On paper, it looks like a small upgrade from the OG Razr, but the S4 processor makes everything buttery smooth.

Yeah I should really make that thing last as long as the first boot. I only put like 3 or 4 loops in lol. When i was testing my initial builds, I kept thinking I was soft bricking my phone.
Should have seen the other boot ani's I was trying to use... I had a commercial for Halo 3, the part in the original Halo where you "unseal the hushed casket," and the legendary ending for halo 4. But everything was so high quality, and the framerate was so high, that it used up all resources on boot so the phone would just freeze mid-animation. lol

Sorry for the lack of updates guys. Bought my first car from a dealership a couple nights ago, and that has my attention. I thought the transaction was over until they called and told me that if I put another $300 down, so and so credit union would finance me for blah blah.
THOUGHT I was already financed. Fook me, I hate dealers.

Dealerships are known for letting you take a car on the assumption you are approved and if something goes south, calling you two weeks later saying they need the car back. Bad thing is it is 100% legal. Hope you get your car. I just bought a 2010 f150 xlt 4x4. Love that truck.

Good news is I got everything taken care of, so I can finally get back to developing. Along with adding more theme elements, like a sick image in the pulldown curtain, I'm also looking at incorporating some AOSP goodness.... If my damn computer will allow me too >:[

any updates on this? are you planning on adding any 4.1.2 updates to it? Hoping my HD arrives in the morning, also wish VZ would provide tracking info when they ship stuff to you...

I hope your HD comes in 4.1.1 cuz if you get with 4.1.2 you cant root it. keep us posted what version you get

Unfortunately no, as I don't have the device anymore. Shortly after releasing this, a friend and myself began work on an aokp port and that drove me to get rid of my HD.
Kinda wish I kept it now that there's a BL unlock though.
Sorry guys, I'm currently building for the note 2 now. I'll be back when the X comes out though!
