Hey all. A while back I picked up a cable for the Moto Xoom that is supposed to attach an external camera but essentially is a micro usb to normal usb adapter. I was wondering if there is any way i could use this with the RAZR as a means of attaching an external hard drive? Essentially i suppose i need a method to make the RAZR a USB host. Any ideas?

If memory serves me properly, USB Host Mode requires kernel support which we can't do until/unless the bootloader is unlocked.

Fair enough. Here's hoping Moto helps out we early adopters after the dev RAZR comes out and unlocks our boot loaders, too. (I can dream, right?)

We have USB host mode...Just need a specific type of micro usb cable and a powered usb hub.

This is not here on our forums but is posted on the XDA forums.
