Here is a link to the Verizon Nexus 6 Variant LMY47E

They have different radios than the LMY47D found on the Google Factory images.

You have to use mfastboot to flash these files. Motorola uses bigger files than fastboot allows, which is why they use a modded version. I do not have a link to the file, but I believe that it can be found on motodev. After locating motorola fastboot, make sure to copy it to the location that you unzipped these files to. Connect your phone to your computer, and put it into bootloader mode by pressing and holding power + vol dn. Open command prompt as administrator, and change to the directory that you unzipped these files to. Make sure that mfastboot.exe is in there as well. Once there, type these commands:

mfastboot flash motoboot bootloader.img
mfastboot flash radio radio.img
mfastboot flash boot boot.img
mfastboot flash recovery recovery.img
mfastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.0
mfastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.1
mfastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.2
mfastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.3
mfastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.4
mfastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.5
mfastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.6
mfastboot flash cache cache.img
mfastboot flash oem oem.img

Now, when I did this, everything seemed to go just fine except for oem.img. It said it went well in command prompt, but on the log on the phone I got an error saying partition size mismatch. I'm not sure if it went through or not. Make sure that after booting up for the first time that you enable dev options by tapping on build number until says it's enabled, and check enable oem unlock. Also make sure to do this on your current rom before fashing any of this. There have been a number of folks that have put their device into a bootloop that they cannot get out of because oem unlock was not checked prior to flashing.

EDIT 1: This is running pretty amazing right now. It is buttery smooth, and is blazing fast. My Verizon and Visual Voicemail are the only two Verizon apps that I see. I am stock rooted and the boot loader is still unlocked. I just need to check to see if exposed works now.

Edit 2: I'm sorry I didn't catch this earlier, but the system files should definitely be flashed to the system partition, not recovery. Edited post to reflect this.

Fixed error in last post where I had the system files being flashed to recovery. My apologies.

Interesting.

Is there a Specific image for the GPE?

That is the version I have. All of the builds are the same except for minor changes to the modem files for the carriers. 47D seems to be the universal release. 47E is Verizon's build. 47I is the international build. 47M is the T-Mobile build. They'll all work with one another, and likely get merged into one build that includes all of the modem enhancements eventually. At least that is the theory.

But, to prevent nasty litttle gremlins from coming out at me, since I have the GPE I should (theoretically) stick to the GPE specific build.

Screw it.  I've never been one to follow the beaten path.  Onwards and Upwards to "i" it is.

Right After I get unlocked.

Which means tomorrow.  LOL.

i is the latest/greatest and has some minor updates according to the change logs....it has the 95 version of the radio. the E version which is what came with Verizon phones has a 98 version of the radio.....some say they have seen better with one or the other so you may want to try both radios. personally I didnt see any difference here in L.A. YMMV

VZW - phone isn't even activated at this point.  I think I am going to have to fool the system with a used VZW device that also uses that nano SIM.

*Conspiracy theory* They are refusing to let me bring my own device to their table because they are going to try to force me into a new contract and make me lose my unlimited data....

They have a new moto e out that is cheap.  I don't know if verizon is selling it yet though.  They do have pre-owned phones on their website too. Also they didn't give me a minutes problem with my verizon xt-1060 de. That is a good way to go. They are fairly inexpensive on ebay.

It will have to be a 2013 model or newer to have the nano sim.  My xt-926 has a micro sim.  My 2013 Moto X DE has a nano sim.

No, I meant that I could buy a cheap phone that uses a nano SIM, activate it, put the SIM in my N6, and give him the cheap phone which, for him, would be an upgrade.

Sorry for being obtuse there....

Factory images for the nexus 6 and flashing instructions here https://developers.g...id/nexus/images

I would suggest since there will be quite a bit of flashing going on that you setup House of Nexus and use that.  Also Marshmellow comes out monday.  And while at the fastboot menu with nothing to loose on the phone it would be a good idea to unlock it. Unlocking does wipe the user data so flashing android and setting up before unlocking just makes you setup again after.  Good idea to remove the sim, flash and setup then insert the sim and let it activate.

Once unlocked you can keep data going forward. I've kept data between all the M previews.
