Taking about release dates...... Which I think are a wholly horrible idea in the software world. Leads to rushed code and bugs.

They had better PRAY this launch goes FLAWLESSLY. If we need a week 1 or 2 patch to make it playable, the gaming community WILL crucify them. I will be leading the way with a flaming katana.

I'm not into that type of game, but if I were eagerly awaiting a release, and it was broken out of the box; I'd be PISSED.

I think I experienced something similar with Doom 3, but in that case the ATI Radeon driver was broken, not the game.

Arkham Origins had a bug that prevented completion of the game. Given that the game took 7-10 hours to beat, well, it wasn't a positive experience for anyone. If that happens to this game, it will be tragic because the original date was October....of last year. Pushed to June 2 this year, and now June 23.

I'm into racing games, I had one of those (can't remember exactly which one) that the intro race was mandatory. And it always crashed at turn 4 on the 3rd lap. So you literally couldn't even play at all. Took about a month for a patch, too.

Edit: by crash, I mean it was a windows 95 game and it threw a GPF. I think it was Sports Car GT by EA.

I finally finished the story mode on this one. Not bad. The Arkham Knight reveal was good. The end was pretty well done. I still HATE the bat mobile mechanics in this game and it makes it nearly unplayable IMO, but, at least I was able to finish the story mode after all this time.
