Unfortunately, hardware errors/failures are 100x harder to pinpoint and fix (unless you are an expert with IC chips, flash memory, and things of that sort.
That being said, there are in-fact still some usable parts on the device, (LCD screen/digitizer, USB port, headphone jack, etc..... and if you choose to, you can either sell it for parts or keep it so you have them on hand to repair another failing device.

Thanks everyone for helping me through! I think that I'll go with trading the phone and getting a new one as my upgrade is in around 7-8 months, it seems they have some offers.
I know it's a Razr forum, but any comments on the Droid Turbo? Turbo and Max are the ones I can get.

yeah, Turbo has good specs. As this weird problem happened to my Moto, I was wondering if I go for something else other than Moto, which will be Samsung. Off course it need me to wait for a couple of months, but S6 seems too thin and fragile to me! I felt it was going to break anytime Let's be hopeful that nothing bad happens to my new Moto after 1 year!
