Razr Hd vs Razr Maxx HD battery life

Coming from the OG Razr Maxx I dont think I can go back to reg battery life again (OG Razr was horrible). With that being said though the Razr HD does have a 2500 mah battery....which isnt that bad, but it is more power to push. So would it be comparable to the OG Razr, or is it a bit better?

I got a great deal for a Razr HD off of Craigslist for 150. But I'm coming from the OG Razr Maxx and would really like a Maxx HD. I was thinking about flipping the Razr HD back on CL for 400 and using that to get a Maxx HD off of Ebay (they're going 400-600 there).

I'll give you 300 for it. Lol

No correction needed. As I've read and understood it, your right on spot.Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that the HD's CPU is much more power efficient than the OG Razr which contributes quite a bit, at least from what I've seen. I didn't think this would make much of a difference, but when comparing my Razr Maxx to my GF's Razr M (equipped with the S4 chip), she gets similar if not better battery life than me.

i'm getting about 50% better battery than I got on my Maxx. This is with a regular Razr HD.
YMMV

Ok....that last HD i was talking about didnt pan out. But I actually just got an HD last week and just wanted to say OMG, battery life is FAR superior to the OG Maxx!I usually get about 12-14 hours screen on time per charge on my MHD...about 2 days the way I use it, but could prob go a week on 1 charge with moderate use...its a beast
I cant even imagine how long a Maxx HD lasts
although I charge it every night because I like to begin the day with a full charge..

The OG razr had a 1780mah batt vs the new non-maxx is 2530mah. So the jump to the MAXX used to be roughly double your battery. It's far less now.

i would say that the MX HD will double the battery life of RZR HD, eventhough they listed the battery 2500mAh vs 3300mAh
if you look closely at my screenshot, the phone idle is only 4%
look at other RZR HD screenshot above and you will feel the gap...
RZR MX HD is definitely uncomparable up until now.
running stock 9.16.6 rooted, no mods, location service on, using mobile data EVDO all day long but wifi is turned on also. Imagine what you can gain with custom ROMs...
