I need some help.

As a company we use a number of applications that run though the intranet and are accessed through web browsers. They pull up fine on Iphones and Ipads but I can't get them to pull up on my phone. It says that it can't find the site. Have any of you experienced this or have any thoughts.

I have tried every browser available in the market as well. All with the same result.

Have you tried putting the browser in PC mode?

Are they are through a VPN? We have the same thing with ipod touches. I recently had our network admin give me the wep key but i didnt request vpn access on my phone (no need for it). So i can access the internet but not the server.

Doesn't sound like you are on the network. You need to figure out some kind of way to verify you are actually on the right network

I am on the network (so no need for vpn). I can browse files on network computers and my IT staff confirmed they can see my device.

Have you tried adding the full domain name? Intranet.domain.org

Yeah. Still no luck. The most frustrating part is my buddy's iphone 4 opens the sites no problem.

After the 173 update I got it to open the landing page this way. Clicking any links or a Site that redirects pulls up not available.

Any ideas on how to fix the domain issue?

Does your workstation at work have any proxy settings in the Internet settings? Any SSL certs required if there is a proxy?

Also have you tried using the IP address instead of dns name?

OK. Using the ip address and port (since they weren't using 80) it worked.

Thanks for the help.
