SO I just rooted my razr via this method for mac:

It's doomlords method just adopted for mac. It worked fine, but I got a weird error msg in TiBu that I haven't gotten before regarding su binary permissions.

- I am running STOCK (unaltered) 6.11.748
- I have NOT applied the 43v3r root hack yet
- All i did was root and start the backup process (I'm no n00b, so the first things I was going to do was make an app backup and a nandroid)

I checked the permissions, and they are as follows:

system/bin/su: rwsr-sr-x
system/xbin/su: rwxrwxrwx

I have attached screenshots of the error and the su binary properties via in root explorer (I use drocap bc it's all I've ever used since the D1 days... is there a good screenshot app out there? Drocap works so I've never really tried anything else...)

Question is... do I need to change anything? I haven't tried to backup or restore anything yet -- I just figured I'd see if anyone has run into this issue before and what the best course of action is.

I've had it pop up before and just let TiBa fix it.

I've had it pop up before and just let TiBa fix it.

Do you know what it actually does to "fix" it? I just ran a backup and it worked fine. Haven't tried to restore yet - I heard that's where the "problems" come in but I'm not 100% sure yet. Ill report back later when I try to restore apps without the "fix"
