Hello,
I've just joined the forum today - so of course I will kick things off with a question.
I purchased insurance from Asurion on my Droid Maxx phone. Recently the screen cracked and I was issued a refurbished phone. The battery charge on my "newly refurbished" phone appears not to hold a charge as long. So my questions are about the phone battery.
1. Is it possible for Droid Maxx batteries to perform differently - over time?
2. Do I have a legitimate complaint with the Insurance company that the phone battery is under-performing when compared with my previous phone? Does anyone have experience with this type of situation?
2. Is there any way to evaluate the status of a Droid Maxx battery?
3. And I guess beyond that, is there a test to evaluate the overall phone's performance? Should one expect a refurbished phone to perform differently from the same phone fresh out of the box - and if so, how can one test and prove this?
4. And finally, a separate question with regards to charging my Droid Maxx phone - is there a device which tests the speed of charge coming through various USB cables? I have several different cables - some issued by Motorola and some purchased overseas and others received as gifts... just not sure how to determine which ones to use.
Thanks in advance for your assistance and input.
