I have not had any issues so far, just noticed something weird and wondered if anyone had noticed this. First some background info, I have 2 usb cords for my droid razr. One from my droid x, and the new one that came with my razr. The cord is longer that came with my DroidX so I've been using that and leaving the other (razr cord) at work as a spare. I had my razr connected as "charge only" when I rooted my razr (using my X usb).
I noticed a few days later that when I connect using my razr cord it will charge, but my computer wont discover that I have my phone plugged in (even if I have it in usb mass storage, or PC mode). When I connect using the X usb cable it has no problem discovering it, no matter what usb port I use. Has anyone else run into this, or could it be something I mucked up by having it connected (with X usb cable) when I rooted? Like I said I have not had any issues or anything, just thought it was weird. ( Sorry if this post is in the wrong spot, I looked all through the help section and didn't see another post like it :) )

It shouldn't really matter, I use the same USB cord from my OG DROID, maybe erase and reinstall the drivers might help.

I had a similar "problem" and it was actually an issue with my windows package updates. I reinstalled the moto drivers and it worked fine.

I've had trouble using certain USB cables.

For me (I have crappy cables) only the one that came with the phone works for transferring files.

:-D :-D

That did the trick. I just uninstalled, and reinstaleld the moto drivers, and it works perfectly now! Thanks for the tip, thats so weird though, I wonder how it would be able to tell the difference. I figured every USB was identical (or at least the USB from DroidX to DroidRzr). Hmm...well it wasn't a big deal either way, but glad to know the solution! Thanks again for the help :)
