HI,

So things goes like this;  few months ago my Motorola Razr maxx XT910 (India) stuck in boot loop. I did a lot of research for the solution of problem, then i found RSD Lite and compatible firmware for my device so i flashed my device through RSD lite from ICS (Asia) to jelly bean (EU).
here is the file name ( cdma_spyder_9.8.2O-72_VZW-16_1ff.xml )  the firmware which i have used for flashing.
Eventually everything was good but from few days my phone is  going into the bootloop again but restarting making it boot properly. But today it is stuck in Boot loop and just looped......

i did wipe cache partition and wipe data/factory reset from Recovery option but after rebooting it's again into boot loop. I  tried  RSD lite again to flash again from   cdma_spyder_9.8.2O-72_VZW-16_1ff.xml    this file but getting below error:

Failed flashing process. 6/16 flash motoboot " motoboot.img " -> Phone returned fail

let me know if you need any more info....

Please help ....

Regards
Devank

Try downloading the firmware again as well as make sure you are using the factory cable and your usb drivers are up to date and using a usb 2.0 port.  The newest version of rsdlite is 6.24. You might also think about setting up House Of Moto 4.3 to flash with.

Hi Spainter, thanks for the reply

Yes i'm using the factory USB cable connected to and xtra extension coming from USB 2.0 port. As you told i have updated my drivers to 6.4.0 and a newest version of RSD Lite 6.2.4( but getting an error on 1st step ) so i have installed RSD Lite 6.1.5 getting same error on 6th step (Failed flashing process. 6/16 flash motoboot " motoboot.img " -> Phone returned fail)

so i have tried Houe of moto 4.3 and got this error (plz check attachment) even though its continued and finished .

now after boot loop Android bot coming with it heart open and some blue color wheel rotating in front of him then a lying on ground android bot with open heart and some red sign then again it goes into boot loop....

There is something wrong with the file you are trying to flash. What country are you in and what provider do you use?

You need to get the battery to say "OK" . Flashing while the battery is showing "low" is bad news. Get the device to charge.

A couple years ago the DCMA made a sweep and took a lot of sites off line that had the fxz files for these phones. The only thing I can suggest is use google and search the web for your model of phone + factory image files and looking that way. Most of us here have long since dumped the files for these older phones. I know the oldest phone I have files for are the droid razr maxx hd and that is because I still have a couple of them around that work.
