More like cm was updated which would have required a rewrite, and then JB dropped for the Razr which would have required another rewrite. I'm sure it'll get revived when everything else settles down.I think a lot of the people who were really face down in kexec dev have dev edition phones now, so they don't need kexec because their bootloaders are unlockable & relockable.

I'm pretty sure most of the development focused on the Droid 3 anyways, as they are stuck on Gingerbread. Kexec requires a lot of dev work, apparently, and with JB pretty much a guaranteed promise, it wouldn't be worth it. By the time they got it working, we'd most likely have the native kernel to play with.

VZW will realize soon that due to the nerds telling everybody to leave their network and their refusal to let unlocked bootloader phones on their network without some stupid condition tied to it that they will die. Maybe the 4.8B they lost last quarter wasn't enough. Make them bleed, than the change will come.

I'll believe that happens when I actually see it.
