Flashed Blurry Maxx v3.8 couldn't be happier or more impressed. This is a very solid Rom fast, stabile, my new daily driver. I have a renewed interest in my phone. Looking to make a donation to it's developer as soon as I find out where to make it.

Glad you like it. I ask that all donations go to Hashcode, since he is the real reason that any of this can even happen. Thanks.

Can Blurry Maxx v3.8 be flashed to a Bionic?
If so, is there a 'how to'?

No. If there is a BIONIC port / version of {any} ROM it will specifically say so in the BIONIC section.

Thanks,
The instructions say to use Safestrap v3.11
The only one I can find is Safestrap RAZR-D4-BIO-3.11.apk.
When installing via adb install this happens:
dlw@dlw-HP:~$ adb install ~/Down*/apk/Safe*.*
2148 KB/s (4632217 bytes in 2.105s)
pkg: /data/local/tmp/Safestrap-RAZR-D4-BIO-3.2.11.apk
Failure [INSTALL_FAILED_OLDER_SDK]
dlw@dlw-HP:~$

The same with v2.11.

Any ideas?

Just put the file on your sd card and install it through any file explorer app

Downloaded Safestrap v3.11 RAZR** three times,
installed it three times via root manager as root.
got an 'parsar error' all three times.

Can 'bootstrap' be used?

Better if you use SafeStrap.

Use

grab the official release.

And it is an .apk - just install it like any other .apk. Try downloading it directly via your phone.

If you have a bootstrap installed, you'll need to uninstall it (after uninstalling the bootstrap recovery from within the bootstrap app).

Downloaded three times to phone:

Installed,
'parsar error'
deleted
redownloaded.

Same thing all three downloads

Didn't see any way to sign up.
Maybe I missed it.

Don't need to sign up - I'm assuming you're on a BIONIC? If so, that .apk should work perfectly fine.

Yes, I am on a Bionic xt875.
And, it does not work.
Will 305 work?

might, but 3.11 is much better. The fact that you cannot side load an .apk is of more concern right now.

Have you tried downloading it with a computer and then copying it to your phone's SDCard?

On the phone, are you using the stock browser or a third party browser?

Earlier you posted:

I can install apk's all day with adb install.
There are several installed this way on the phone now.

Just not this one.

That is weird then. That one .apk is not installing. I wonder why?
