Is it at all possible to change the color of the Soft Keys? That would be sweet. I dont know if there just a white light or a combination to make it white. Sorry if its a dumb topic. :/

Believe they are white lights. You could go in there and apply a tiny film if you wanted to, obviously voiding any warranty you still had left.

I don't think I could ever come to take apart this phone 5 years from now. But how sweet would other to have different color soft keys? Thank you though.

I'd kill for some blue or red LED's in there.

I tried doing this on the OG, and there was 2 led's for the 4 soft keys. It is possible to change them. I put blue ones one.....well I put 1 blue one on. messed up the other one

how did you go about doing that? Even thought it was the OG droid, they might still have the same hardware since there both Moto.

I was replacing the screen and behind the digitizer was the two leds....I know this is vague...lets see if I can find pics
