They made Alicia Keys part of their creative development team... desperate for attention and users.

i feel like i may be stoned for saying this but i'm really interested in the phone. my biggest gripe is i'm so used to my phones amazing battery that anything less would be a significant downgrade.
I actually like how they look.
the press conference was pretty bad. it looked like a highschool drama production where the audience was unaware of when they should clap or not.

i agree. it looks nice but im not sure RIM or blackberry can survive in the iOS Android dominated world. we'll just have to wait and see.

I think this phone is amazing for businesses. The personal and business mode allows the company to push apps and info directly to the business side or even wipe the business side without affecting the personal side at all. Also they have over 70,000 apps in the BB10 app world which is more than any first launch app store in history. They also seem to have a huge support for development.
The multitasking looks wicked smooth and the keyboard is to die for both on the Z and Q model.
I don't know about you guys but I am very excited for this product. I wouldn't buy the Z10 or Q10 since they are the first products running an entirely rebuilt OS from bottom to top but I would be very interested in their successors

I'm not going to write it off, QNX is a nice thing to base an OS on.
Remember, it took Android lots of time to evolve as well. I thought it pretty much sucked as an OS until v2.0
We have to remember, this is CALLED BB OS 10, it is actually a 1.x release.
