So I got the OTA to 2.3.6 and all was well.

I updated, kept root with VooDoo and then created a backup with Bootstrap.

I just used MyBackUpPro and froze all the same apps that i did in 2.3.5 and rebooted the phone for the changed to work. Well now my phones in boot loop :(

I did power + vol up and down and when I try to boot the Recovery option, it just brings up an exclimation mark and goes no where else.

Im currently at work and dont have the fastbook file or RSDlight on my work computer.

Is there any other way to use CWR? Or is there anything I can do with the recoverys I have on my SD card right now?

If theres nothing I can do right now at work, is there at least anyway to just shut the phone off? So my battery doesnt 100% die before im home?

Sorry of you did this first but I seems to be missing it in your post but When you get the exclamation I believe you need to press power up to get to the recovery screen.

So after the triangle with the exclimation mark appears on the screen, I need to do something else?

Triangle means press both volume buttons.

Then wipe data

Ok. Worth a shot asking haha

So I can do a factory reset and then load Bootstrap and load my recovery, correct?

Does a factory reset put the phone back from "out of the box" or does it roll it back to the last OTA?

Obiously my phone came with 2.3.5 and when I did the factory reset it was at 2.3.6

Im trying to load a recovery file again right now.

So I decided when I got home last night to just use the AP Fastboot file and put me back down to 2.3.5 (6.11.174).

Rooted
BackupPro installed
Bootstrap installed
Most (if not all my apps) installed

But I dont get why the backups didnt work to begin with? Whats the point of making a recovery if it wont work? :(

Wipe the Cache and Dalvik BEFORE you make the Backup. Don't rename it with spaces or special characters.

Also, use the latest BootStrap.

im on the lastest version of Bootstrap

What does whiping the cache/dalvik do before making the backup? Do you mean before deploying the backup?

Fixes the issues you had. Lol.

Before you make the backup. Then when you wipe out everything to restore it its clean and won't boot loop you. :)
