SOLVED

Didn't see how to delete this second post, my apologies.

Had dealer flash phone to Page Plus.
Rooted and used phone for a few days deciding if to upgrade.
Followed video and installed Bootstrap; went well.
Mistakenly tried to flash an 'Infuse 4G rom'.
Now the phone only goes to the first Motorola page and stops.
Tried to enter CWM via 'vol up + vol dwn + pwr'; does not work.
Goes into a recovery I know nothing about, not CWM.
Tried 'vol up + pwr' and 'vol dwn + pwr'; neither work.

How is this solved?
I use Ubuntu 12.10, not Windows.

TIA
dlw

When phone connected via USB cable, it says to be in 'Debugging mode.'
How do you do that when you can't get past the Moto logo?
Also, where exactly does the '246_FXZ' directory go.
I've got in Home directory and also in Root directory.

Thanks,
dlw

Boot into fastboot mode by holding all three buttons down for 10 seconds or more. Then scroll down to ap fastboot with vol down and select with vol up. Plug in the phone and run the 246 Fxz factory reset option.

Got into fastboot mode,
scrolled down to ap fastboot,
now I'm getting 'Battery Low, cannot program'.
Where is the 246 Fxz factory reset option; on the phone or the PC?

Thanks for replying.

I am running Ubuntu 12.10.
Did the following as per instructions:

Installing FXZ (Linux):

o) Create a 246_FXZ directory in your HouseOfBionic directory
o) Extract the FXZ files TO THE ROOT OF the 246_FXZ directory.

root@dlw-HP:/# ls
bin dev HouseOfBionic lib mnt root selinux tmp vmlinuz
boot etc initrd.img lost+found opt run srv usr vmlinuz.old
cdrom home initrd.img.old media proc sbin sys var
root@dlw-HP:/# cd /HouseOfBionic
root@dlw-HP:/HouseOfBionic# ls
246_FXZ
root@dlw-HP:/HouseOfBionic# cd /HouseOfBionic/246_FXZ
root@dlw-HP:/HouseOfBionic/246_FXZ# ls
allow-mbmloader-flashing-mbm.bin logo.bin
boot.img mbm.bin
cdrom mbmloader.bin
cdt.bin mbr
device_tree.bin preinstall.img
ebr radio.img
emstorage.img recovery.img
grfs.img system.img
lbl VRZ_XT875_5.9.905.XT875.Verizon.en.US_CFC.xml
root@dlw-HP:/HouseOfBionic/246_FXZ#

The phone is in 'ap fastboot'.
Where exactly is /HouseOfBionic/246_FXZ directory to be located?
It is in Root and Home now.

Turn phone off,
Plug in power cord,
Phone boots up to Moto Logo and sits there.
No idea if it is charging or not.
No battery chanrging indicator of any kind.
Hopefully, it is.

If you have an old usb cable, cut one end off, peel back the jacket, strip the red and black wires and tape the red wire to the positive on the battery and the to the negative on the battery.

Unless you know someone with a bionic that will allow you to charge your battery. Verizon may charge it for you, as well

I can but not right now. I can tell you things aren't set up right.

./utils/fastboot.linux: 3: ./utils/fastboot.linux: Syntax error: "(" unexpected

That should have been a big clue. ;) It's going to be a few hours before I can help you dig into this. No chance you have access to a windows box?

I haven't done any work on the Linux version since October or early November. And it's possible it needs an update from the RAZR Linux tool. I'll have to look later but these issues can be REALLY painful to debug.
