The Verizon Galaxy S III seems to have gotten quite a bit of a treat today, as it has received a new leaked update that will push the device up to Android 4.1.2. It's build number is VRBMA2 and is still in the 4.1 area of Jelly Bean (4.1.2), but this does not include any premium suite upgrades we S III owners want. Oh well.
If you want to flash the new build you may head over to XDA for instructions. The update includes a new modem and RPM, which are all now available.

Is the download link on xda web page that you provided above able to install from SD as an update? On an in rooted S III ?

It's a stock rooted rom. Sorry, I should've been a bit more precise. You download this and flash it in your custom recovery.

Thats what I was thinking the further I read. I have a buddy with S III on 4.1.1 not rooted how can he get the Verizon leak to 4.2.1 ?

You mean 4.1.2, lol. Does your friend want to stay unrooted or does he mind being rooted? You can get to the leak either way.

He's NDCYSIV about that at the moment. Trust me I've shown him the path and the tools and what all I've been able to do with my MAXX XT912 but for now I think he wants to play it safe and stick to unrooted. I think hes heard to many horror stories in the past of bricked phones. So I guess just the OTA for now. Is there a link somewhere ?
