So my microphone has stopped working suddenly and no one is able to hear me in calls. Both speaker phone and normal calls. if i blow into the phone you can hear it on the other side if i yell dang loud you can hear me faintly. SO... upon researching i have found some but very little as predicted for parts. I've seen others say the tap moved on them so they moved it back and problem solved. i'll be trying this tonight. (i called VW and since i my wife and I merged our plans we took a AOL or Assumption of Liability... AKA your screwed if anything happens to your phone since your merging your plans together. so two questions:

1. anyone know where i may find a mother board? i've checked Fleebay and they have a water damaged one. prefer new/used but with a known condition

2. anyone here possibly have a spare mother board i my purchase from them?

Thank you,
John

Wait, so merging your Service contracts voids a manufacturer's warranty? Really?

That sucks primo. Might try asking in the classified section, and also check places like Swappa.

I'd call back. It could have changed but when I worked for vzw for 2 years.... it didn't matter if an AOL was done. We could track down when the phone was originally activated and on what line and what account, as long as the phone was within a year we could warranty replace it.
