Turning off wifi and deleting all the files inside /data/misc/dhcp/ fixes the issue but it's not a permanent fix.

DHCP stops working and the connection eventually throws "avoided poor internet connection" error message.
Turning off wifi and deleting all the files inside /data/misc/dhcp/ fixes the issue but it's not a permanent fix.

Im assuming you talking about the CM10 bases out there... stock bases are fine on the wifiDHCP stops working and the connection eventually throws "avoided poor internet connection" error message.

Yes, CM10 ROMs. I'm running CM10 inverted and after two days I had the connection error. This fixed it. Found this fix on the CyanogenMod Forums.

I tried that and It did not work For me. Tried two different programs.Wifi connection fixer in the pay store also does the trick.

Yes that program does work I was using something else. Wifi connection fixer automatically does the process I explained in the OP.Hmm, it worked for me...
