I would suspect it has to do with Verizon's grubby, little, greedy hands in the process. I am probably wrong though. I don't really care what they have planned for the phone as long as we have awesome devs helping us make the phones even better then what Motorola rolls out with. Honestly, I'm not sure what the big deal is with ICS. I'm happy with GingerbreadJust got my razr maxx to replace my way old outdated slow phone that I hung onto for too long. I'm still in the honeymoon phase with razr. But seeing that Moto ICS update schedule makes me wonder why US update isn't even on the calendar while Canada is 2Q12. Is Canada's system that different from US? Or is there something else going on here? Just wondering.

Plus, GSM is much more of the Razr users than CDMA. So it makes sense that they would get it first.

Then again, I am running a very stable build already, so why am I even complaining? We should all just be glad we have such a great dev community.

Does that mean stable ICS build?I hate to say it, but I don't think I'm going to blame Motorola completely for this one. Yes, it is extremely frustrating that the other oems are pushing their ics updates so much faster, but for US customers, we should be blaming Verizon as much as Motorola. Motor themselves said to be expecting the update in q2 2012, and technically they're doing that, they're just not doing serving one of their largest customer bases. Verizon on the other hand wouldn't allow the unlocked boot loader, they screw up updates on all of their phones, and they overload all of their phones with crap. I've loved all my droids (meaning all Motorola), but maybe it's time to switch carriers.

There are no ICS builds that work 100%. Hardware acceleration doesn't work and not everyone is reporting solid data. Also, I believe there is a problem with the video camcorder.Yea, check our ROM section

Can you elaborate to "not everyone is reporting solid data"?
Are you saying that 4G is flaky or what?

People are reporting data problems with data in general to include 3g. I switched back to the eclipse rom because I was having data drop problems.

Its a well known thing that data with the ICS roms can be a problems. These roms are "frankenstiened" together so to speak since ICS for the RAZR has not been released or leaked yet. That being said, I have tried pretty much every one of these roms and they are fantastic. When developement started out, the data was not very stable and would drop often. Now that we are in the later stages of developement, the teams that are working on these have done a amazing job at making the data more trusting and stable. I have found that for me, the best way to play around with these roms is to use safestrap. That way I can have ICS and stock at the same time. I use ICS during the day since thats when I mess around with my phone the most. After work, I got back to stock so that I know I have good data (pending any Verizion drops). This is just my 2 cents though, I hope you don't feel ripped off lol.
