Hi all,

So I was sitting in the chat room and there was a brief discussion about the story behind our profile names. I found it interesting to hear the stories behind the name and thought I'd invite everyone to share their story if they would like. I'll start us off:

ZKK007:
ZK = All New Zealand registered aircraft must have ZK before their registration letters. This lets other counties know where the aircraft is registered. For example, U.S.A is "N," Australia is "VH," Macedonia "Z3". They are just random assignments to each country. So ZK indicates my home country.

K007 = The "K" is the first letter of my first name, and we all know where "007" comes from . K007 came from my first online profile which was a car racing game that my mates and I played back in high school. Everyone used the first letter of their name and then "007."

So that is my story! What is yours?

Memnoch is from the Anne Rice vampire novel "Memnoch the Devil." It's been my username since I first appeared on the Interwebs many moons ago. I added the 73 (my birth year) a while back when I started registering on sites where plain Memnoch was taken.

I once had a small car audio business named Phatdaddyz, so when I started a gmail account for that I tried just phatdaddyz@gmail.com but it was taken. Added the 01 just to get the gmail address & it stuck, been using every since. Oh and I'm a 300+lb father of 3 hence, phat daddy & my secret identity is a pimp.

Like Memnoch's username, John Galt is the ultimate protagonist in Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged, A book I read in HS (1987) and whose character I started using as my online username shortly thereafter when accessing online BBSs for the first time circa 1990.

FWIW, I'm older than Memnoch - 3/15/1971 :P

Not much guess work here..my profile pic pretty much says it all..Weapon X is a name James Howlett, aka Logan aka Wolverine was given when he was the tenth attempt at bonding the metal adamantium to a human subject's skeleton. What can I say? The guy is insanely awesome..love the character and the story behind him. Who wouldn't love to have those claws and super healing power?!!! Sign me up!!

3 guesses on mine....

And I am older than all of you...In Jewish traditions, many use the first letter or first name of a deceased relative. I was supposed to be named with an "e" after my great grandmother, but my father's father died 4days before I was born. They needed an "s" name. My aunt suggested this, so I was named after Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons song (my parents preferred spelling it with an "i")

Glad you asked???

Not very imaginative when I setup my account on another forum and I decided to keep it over here.
First parts of my first and last name.
The avatar is one I found a while back as a black and white and just keep changing the look..it's an abstract image of one of my favorite Egyptian deities..Anubis

Older than me too?

Wow - that pic that is your avatar is a bit unclear, but from what I can tell, you sure as hell don't look older than me :D

And I look like I'm 25 Even though 42 is creeping up....

I have no imagination and use Thach, short for my last name Thacher. I've been called Thach for as long as I can remember in school, sports, and military. So it just kind of works lol.

Gytole pronounced Guy-toe-lee, (but fast), was created when I was listening to my friend from Germany talk. I was talking to her about our look alikes and I was telling her how Geddy Lee of Rush looks like my father, and like how Geddy got his from his grandmother with a Yiddish Accent, I got mine from HIS name with a German Accent..lmao it just sounded funny. But then we started creating names and I came up with the fancier' "Gytole Mort Vonbuledon." But I go by Gytole in short...
it cracks me up when everyones like, "Whats a Gytole?" I'm always like I have no idea...it's just a name, it's me i guess?
