Hello Everyone. I just added init.d support to my DST kernel and wanted to share. This mod is in the init.rc not a workaround and uses busybox to execute the init.d scripts. Enjoy!

Requirements:

1. You must have an unlocked bootloader

2. Must have BusyBox Installed

3. Must be rooted

4. Must be familiar with fastboot.

5. Must be on a 4.1.x rom

To install:

1. Download appropriate file. boot.init.d.stock.img.zip is for odexed or deodexed factory Verizon 4.1.2 ROM. boot.init.d.DST.img.zip is for odexed or deodexed DST ROM.

2. Unzip boot image from archive. Rename image file to boot.img.

3. Boot phone into bootloader

4. Issue the command "fastboot flash boot boot.img"

5. Issue the command "fastboot reboot"

Thats it! Hope someone finds this helpful as Kernels are being developed. I can make a lot more changes too if needed. Let me know what you guys wanna see as far as kernel script mods.

--EDIT--

Added support for the XT925-Brazil. Please post your xt925 boot image for direct support.

Also, I have tested the wifi issue on a bone stock image on my RAZR MAZZ HD and everything works great. Please let me know of any related problems

This was for the DST Build and therefore DST Kernel. The wifi module for the DST Build would work but I will just work on a boot image for the stock kernel and post when ready. Thanks for the feedback!

-----EDIT:

Please see main post for updated boot images.

Its never worked with me...
Seems that my stock kernel (brasil) doesn't support... I don't know your.
But you can try make a test with a script that add a log.txt on /data to confirm that init.d is working...
Here never worked...

If you can post your boot image here, I would be happy to. Please get your boot image from a fxz or update or dump and post it. I can add the support to it.
