Here you go a root meathod brought to you by hacker812c ,over at XDA. Just download the ZIP file, extract it to your desktop. Open it up and click the windows or linux version.

YOU MUST MAKE SURE YOUR DEVICE IS NOT IN MASS STORAGE MODE. PUT IT IN MTP MODE!

Let the program do its thing then download SuperUser app from Google Play. You might need to download busybox also and install it.

Somehow when I downloaded it I had a corrupted file. Redownloaded and it worked perfect! Thanks!

I got this error initially, make sure once your phone is in MTP and Debugging, reinstall the applicable Moto drivers. Once I did that my compy said "Your device is ready to use". With USB debugging enabled, Windows thinks your RAZR is a different device...

root worked but the superuser apk did not auto install with the second file in the thread. installed from google play/ thanks for the exploit

From the files included... su isn't a part of the script or program. Probably because some people like different programs?

I edited the script and added su. Apk but there was a typo in my edit and that's what this user tried and had trouble with.
