Droid will not turn on. Plug in charger and sometimes just get a flash of the white LED and blank screen even after an hour or so. Tried a different charger and same thing or no white LED at all. Using a 5V 800ma micro USB charger. Unit depleted battery the night before this happened. Tried different combinations of power and up/dn buttons to turn on to no avail. The unit is almost 2 years old. Could it be the battery? Are these batteries servicable? Any ideas on how to kick it on?

If the only thing that happened is the battery was depleted, you can try removing the SD card. I use to have a phone that wouldn't charge if the battery was completely depleted and the SD card was in. I know it sounds weird but it was the only thing that worked. The phone could be plugged in all day long and wouldn't take a charge but as soon as the SD card was out it would take a charge like a champ.
