READ THIS!!!!

EVERYONE MUST WIPE. IT WILL WIPE EVERYTHING (NOT YOUR INTERNAL OR EXTERNAL SD CARD).

CAUTION!!!! MAKE SURE THE ROM IS ON SD CARD EXT BEFORE BOOTING INTO RECOVERY WHEN USING BOOTSTRAP!!!!!

INSTALL THE ROM AND WALK AWAY!!! LET THE ROM SETTLE!!!


Installation Via Bootstrap
1) Boot into Clockwork Recovery
2) Wipe Data/Factory Reset
3) Wipe Cache
4) Install zip from sdcard
5) Choose zip from sdcard
6) Select the DeRazrX_V1 ROM zip file
7) After ROM installs, Go back and Reboot


Installation Via SafeStrap
1) Boot into Safestrap
2) Enable Safe System FIRST!
3) Wipe Data/Factory Rest
4) Wipe Cache
5) Under Mounts and Storage, Format /System
6) Under Advanced, Wipe Dalvik

Looks pretty downloading now. So let me get this straight I'm kinna a new flasher, an I am currently running the razr on the .748 build. So just wipe everything and install. An I still use safestrap, do I have to have bootstrap?

No, you do not have to use bootstrap.


Installation Via SafeStrap

Someone can correct me if I am wrong, but I believe the biggest difference with this and Razrx 1.1 is that Derazrx V1 is a deodex rom allowing mods such as 1% battery and pulldown toggles. I am pretty sure Razrx 1.1 is odex and unable to use these mods.

The theme is obviously different but id agree with your theory.

Yes, This is a deodexed version of RazrX ROM... It featured deodexed file system, 1% battery and pull down toggles.. Might be more, but thats all im aware of.

Nice work skiwong!! I rewrote my init.d scripts and consolidated them into one speedth3ory script. Much better and less redundancy. Hit me and i can shoot it over for you to give it a run.

I am on .173 now, can I install over current build or will I need to roll back to .748 first?

If you are on the cheesecaked update, I would roll back to .748 I imagine there would be complications flashing this over the cheesecake leak, since people did have issues on both razrx and arctic if they had the cheesecake installed... reason is that the cheesecaked leak changes the kernel...

OK, coming over to this from Artic... formatted, wiped data and cache. Installed and rebooted. (Bootstrap BTW) My phone will NOT connect to data, I am stuck at the "touch the droid to begin" screen. For the past 20 minutes it has said, "Please wait, this may take a few minutes." Any ideas?

EDIT: Reboot fixed the data connection...everything is looking good so far!

I just flashed this rom, very nicely done, love the 1% battery mod. toolbox isn't letting me change the signal bar, and I'm getting an error, fc on market. when it happens again I will snap a scn shot. and I was wondering is it possible to change the drop down skin to the notifications, like Big used in his themes? or the razrX rom.

Same here with Toolbox not changing icons. No issues with Market though...

BTW, loving the fact that homescreen changes from portrait to landscape!!! Kinda weirded me out that it didn't do it on stock or Artic. This ROM feels really snappy man, loving the speed of it! Also haven't had any data drop issues, switching from 3G to 4G has been seamless. (its only been a couple hours but still...)

so I decided to try and I went back and flashed bigs deodex standard battery theme over this rom. using rom toolbox I was able to change battery icons to the 1% ics and it works/looks beautiful!!! still getting force closes from market sometimew while editing this stuff..... other than that it looks sweet now!

here is the error. it only has manifested when changing icons through Rom Toolbox. which it has never done before, But, the icons did change and everything seems to be normal.. been running through everything on the phone for past hour with no FC's, great work skiwong!
