I rooted and unlocked my razr maxx HD this weekend and tried to install twrp recovery using fastboot.I am using windows XP and I put the twrp recovery img in the same folder as my bootloader unlock folder and opened a command prompt and tried to flash twrp, my computer rebooted when I hit enter and my phone in fastboot said I had a flash failure now when I turn my phone off and back on it boots into AP fastboot and I have to hold down both volume buttons and the power button to get it to boot up. How can I fix this?

OK thanks, but how do I get my phone to boot up like it did before I had a flash failure, when I power up my phone it boots up in AP fastboot and I have to hold down the volume and power buttons and then choose normal boot to use my phone.

Are there any issues with using RSD Lite on an xt926 with an unlocked bootloader?

Awesome.

I think I'm missing something, though. I get a 403 Forbidden everytime I try to click the link with the XML files.

Prime example why I save my pics to external.  ;)

Yea, I save all mine to external SD card. She just learned it the hard way. Few seconds in the microwave though, and I'm sure all the pics got zapped

 you could use this

I tried using Matt's utility to flash 4.1.2 stock system, kernel, radio, and recovery, but my wifi antenna still won't work.

I'd really like to be able to flash the fxz from DirtyDroid, as I'm not sure I trust any other sources. Sadly, the download link in the OP is still not working for me.

This is a rather old thread. Not sure what your trying to accomplish or what you have now......

The various files except maybe the last one which is optional can be found, I think all here in the forum. The drivers are from Motorola, the firmware is here:

and RSD theres a 6.1.4 or 5 around now

You may also be able to use Matts 1.21 utility depending on what version is on the phone now.

The download link for the Motorola files is down. Anyone have an updated link possibly?

This thread is old. You will not want to use the rsd that is posted here as it will not flash the newer firmware. The fxz can be found at the link below. We recommend using SamuriHL's RSD Flasher.

Hello everyone. My friends phone is stuck on the dual core logo. I can get into fast boot etc but I am having trouble getting it recognized on my laptop via rsd lite. I believe this is because usb debugging is not enabled but I can not get to the enabling menue. any ideas? razr hd xt926

Read the post above yours.  Follow the instructions in the windows rsd flasher thread under House of Moto.

I need the stock ROM file, but the link you provided isn't working either.  Has it changed again?  Thanks.

SBF is no more :(..... There is a motofirmware.com, but it is down more than up as far as I can tell. I have a few of them here for the xt926 -

Unfortunately, I have xt926 running system version 182.46.15 and after about 6 hours scouring forums, the general answer I've gotten is that there are no exploits available for this version.

Has anyone heard of anything regarding a new exploit?

What kind of exploit? I'm pretty sure you can gain root. You won't be able to unlock, though.
