I quit using any backups. They screw things up every time.

I've found that as long as you don't restore the app data things seem to work just fine. I only ever restore data on games, never have issues.

Sent from the Titanic. I named my phone "The Titanic" so when I plug it into the computer it says "The Titanic is syncing".

Yeah that was case cause I tried to install the new youtube update and it won't work. I'm actually going to wipe the whole thing and start over case I also had some issues with other apps installing from the market. Thank again for a great rom.

Do you download the game from the store and then restore data or are you restoring the app AND data? I play a fair amount of games on mine while I'm at work and starting from scratch after a while can get annoying.

I restore all of my apps, reboot, restore data to the games, reboot. I've had issues in the past by restoring the app and data simultaneously

Wiped everything as indicated (data, cache, dalvik, format/system), booted up, stuck at red eye for more than 10 minutes. Manually turned off (vol keys + power button for 10 secs), wiped data again, same problem.

Any idea?

I'm having the same issue. Using SS 3.05 if that makes any difference.

I want all to know that I've consulted w/many people w/in & outside of droidrzr & the bottom line is w/out tone of voice & facial expressions, it is easy for intentions to be misunderstood & anybody can have a context in which .they &. do not react as well as they might otherwise & the result is that I pm'ed halo & offered toput this behind us & he showed true class in the way he responded, positively… so please forgive - everyone else whatever came fm my side & I look fwd to good experiences here & w/this rom.

Loving the rom!!

I have one small issue. The youtube app will not login my account. Simply flashes the error "An error occurred".

I've tried uninstalling/re-installing the youtube app without any success.

Ideas?

Where did you get the YouTube app from? Download from the Play Store?

OK, I downloaded Revolution 1.1, created a 2nd rom slot in addition to my existing rom slot1 in Safestrap 3.05; wiped data, cache, dalvik, & system - installed & rebooted. The red eye boot anim was stuck for over 10 mins...

Then I hit Power & Vol down to force a reboot & then let the system start up on its own.

Same result - for now, to be able to start all over again, I have deleted the 2nd rom slot that was holding Revoluton 1.1… so I can start fresh w/help fm folks here… hopefully soon TIA
