Hi.

I need some help with my Razr.

We have 3 Razr at home.

1x XT910

2x XT912

All of them the wifi work propoerly, but both of XT 912 have the same WiFi MAC, so I need to change in one of them.

I tried with many "Spoof MAC address" apps, but any of them works.

I tried all solutions I saw on internet but any of them works either.

I clean the wifi information with "wifical.sh" and "wifiupgradecal.sh" and the wifi crash (on XT910 works) need to restore the system.

In XT910 there is a file witch contains MAC info:

/data/misc/wifi/firmware/wl12xx-nvs.bin

But when I edit someting the wifi won't start up.

In XT912 this path is clear, so I copy the file from XT910 and didn't work, even with the wifical and wifiupgradecal.

The XT912 have erased the CID to run a european custom ROM (created by myself basend on 4.1.2 stock ROM) everything works great (except the same MAC).

I don't know what else can do!!

I need the change keep on every boot...

Anyone can help me??

Thank you!!

SOLVED!!

Finally I can change the Wifi MAC, for every boot and working perfect.

To me, the answer was in the file wl12xx-nvs.bin

To edit it, I needed an Hex Edit.

Thank you!!
