Since I am not a LS team member or maintainer, this post is just to point you to the latest download for Kit-Kat. Conversation regarding the ROM is fine too :)

Jason Weitzel posted on their Google+ site that he cooked up a ROM for us....

We happen to host the LS ROM on our drdevs.com site at:

I can ONLY speak for the 7/2 version (file date is 7/3), that is working for me.

LS Google+ link:

UPDATE: While drdevs.com is down, you can use this for Jason's mirror:

You want the files with moto_msm8960 in the name....NOT the ones with dt in the name

I don't even know if I can flash this update, because the bloody noob that I am, I have no idea if I have a KitKat bootloader or not.

If you upgraded to Kit-Kat then you would be on the KK bootloader.

Well I'm currently running the 6-30 build of LS (which is a 4.4.4 based version), so I'm assuming that I have a KitKat bootloader. The LS device maintainer for xt926 says that one would need an upgraded (to KK) bootloader.

Yes. New biuld is on 3.4 (KK) kernel. You must be upgraded to official KK and flash new recovery (

I'm downloading this now. I'm really happy with Gummy but Liquid's ROMs have always been so good...

Yep no blutooth audio streaming here either.  BT headset working, but no audio.  This ROM flashes well using TWRP.  I hope they fix the BT issue soon.  It's my 1 reason for not ditching the stock KK ROM.

File transfer via BT works fine.. But I know nothing about audio streaming - I don`t use it..
P.S. My device - Razr M - XT907

I've heard nothing but good things about LS. Looking forward to a version with functioning BT media streaming since I use it daily.

Soooo.... I decided to flash the 7-2 build (coming from the 6-30 build) to see if it actually happens. And I'm getting this:

At least now I know that I don't have a KK bootloader. Restored my 6-30 nandroid, and I'm back to where I was before. Can anybody here please explain step by step how to update a bootloader to a Kitkat bootloader?

I get the same thing with any 4.4.4 ROM, and I'm not sure why. I have a 4.4.2 ROM running right now.

How the hell could I have a 4.4.2 ROM without a 4.4 bootloader??

^This. You may as well update since most AOSP ROMs use a CM base and CM is only supporting the KK bootloader now.

Both your points are noted. Would either or both of you kindly provide us with a step-by-step tutorial as to how we can accomplish this task? Many thanks in advance.

My device had an unlocked bootloader already, so I'm not sure how the Towelroot thread applies here. But thanks anyway. Another poster on the G+ already provided exactly what I'm looking for, and for those that are interested in updating their bootloaders to KK, you might want to take a look here:
